About Cat
I feel that providing appropriate education to individuals is so important. It can open doors to opportunities and experiences and everyone deserves this chance.
Whilst my degree in Education provided me with the foundations of my knowledge base: it has been subsequent varied work experiences that have consolidated this knowledge and taught me how to become an effective educator.
I have six years experience in teaching English as a foreign language, both online and face to face. I also have a further three years’ experience working as an SEN teaching assistant. These skills and experiences have taught me how to provide effective and engaging lessons whilst creating a friendly and open environment. I have had to become an adaptable educator in order to manage these different educational settings.
I feel that my work experiences to date, and my personality encourage students to feel comfortable, supported and focused. My colleagues would describe me as being an enthusiastic, friendly and naturally caring person who always tries to meet the individual needs of each student.

I like to make people comfortable and at ease. It is important to build a good rapport to make the lessons enjoyable.
I have 6 years teaching experience to students all ages. The typical length of a lesson would be 30-45 minutes. Or short ones 20 minutes helping with a chosen topic.My bachelors degree and 150 hour TEFL has given me the tools needed to be an experienced and great qualified tutor.
