About Colby

I have extensive experience teaching computer programming to beginner and intermediate learners and helping them develop confidence in coding and software concepts. I enjoy simplifying technical topics and making programming engaging, practical, and easier to understand. Teaching programming allows me to help students build creativity, logical reasoning, and valuable technical skills.

I completed my Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology and developed strong interest in software systems, coding logic, and modern technological advancements. Along with teaching, I focus on helping students improve consistency, discipline, and independent problem-solving abilities. I believe every learner can become skilled in programming with proper guidance and continuous practice.

Outside teaching, I enjoy exploring new programming frameworks, software tools, and emerging technologies. I continuously improve my coding knowledge and teaching methods to provide students with updated and effective learning support. My aim is to help learners build strong programming foundations and confidence for future technology careers.

About the lesson

My programming lessons focus on helping students understand coding concepts through practical learning and real-world applications. I teach programming fundamentals, algorithms, data structures, and software development concepts using structured explanations and coding exercises. I encourage students to practise regularly so they can strengthen logical thinking and problem-solving abilities.

I believe programming is best learnt through hands-on implementation rather than memorising syntax without understanding. During lessons, I guide students step-by-step in writing, debugging, and improving code efficiency while building confidence in solving technical challenges. I also help learners improve analytical thinking and project development skills through regular practice activities.

My teaching style is interactive, supportive, and adapted according to the student’s technical background and learning pace. I ensure strong programming fundamentals before moving towards advanced coding concepts and software applications. My goal is to create a positive learning atmosphere where students feel motivated to explore technology and programming confidently.
