About Raisah

With over 10 years of experience working in UK schools, I have had the privilege of supporting a wide range of students in developing confidence, independence, and a genuine enjoyment of learning. I became a teacher because I believe that every child deserves the opportunity to reach their full potential. Helping young learners discover their strengths and achieve success — both academically and personally — is at the heart of everything I do. My specialist subject is Philosophy and Ethics, which has shaped my passion for encouraging curiosity, reflection, and critical thinking. Alongside this, I have experience teaching KS1 and KS2 students in Maths and English, with a particular focus on building strong foundations and preparing for SATs in a calm, supportive way. I take pride in creating a learning environment where every child feels valued, capable, and motivated to achieve their best. My approach is personalised, patient, and designed to help each student grow in confidence as they progress. Building Confidence & Success in KS1 & KS2 Maths & English Every child learns differently — and that’s exactly why my tutoring sessions are never “one-size-fits-all.” I can help KS1 and KS2 students build strong foundations in Maths and English, while also preparing them with confidence and calm for their SATs. My approach is simple but powerful: Personalised learning — I adapt every lesson to your child’s unique learning style, pace, and personality. Confidence first — I help children believe in their ability to learn and succeed, turning “I can’t” into “I can!” Skills that stick — lessons focus on real understanding, so children can apply their knowledge anywhere. Gentle SATs preparation — we focus on steady progress, test strategies, and mindset — without the stress. Whether your child needs extra support, a confidence boost, or is aiming to reach greater depth, I’ll meet them where they are and help them thrive. With over 10 years' experience working in British schools in the UK, I have a great understanding of what students need to do in order to thrive! Maths & English tutoring for KS1 & KS2 SATs preparation with a calm, confidence-building approach Friendly, supportive, and completely tailored to your child I offer half an hour and 1 hour sessions. Small Group Sessions (up to 3 students) – £20 per hour. Fun, collaborative learning that encourages teamwork while still giving each child individual attention. High-quality teaching, flexible options, and a supportive approach to help every learner reach their full potential.
