I’m a singing tutor with over 6 years of experience and a Licentiate of Music in Voice. I specialize in working with adult beginners, hobbyists, and those returning to singing after a break. My lessons offer a low-pressure, encouraging space where you can feel comfortable exploring your voice at your own pace. I focus on breathwork, vocal relaxation, and posture to help you sing with ease and confidence. Mindfulness in music is an important part of my teaching, allowing you to connect deeply with your voice and the songs you love. I guide tone development gently, tailoring techniques to suit your unique sound. I teach a variety of genres including Jazz, Folk, Blues, and Contemporary Adult styles. For The Church Ensemble Player, warm-ups can be simple and group-friendly, like gentle sirens or sustained vowel sounds to promote blend and ease. Staying mindful during rehearsals helps maintain joy and patience, balancing individual vocal goals with ensemble harmony. Regular hydration, with breaks for water, protects the voice through long sessions. Emphasizing forward, relaxed placement supports endurance and clarity.
