About Kelsey

"Graduating from The Juilliard School provided the bedrock for my 13 years of teaching guitar. My career began on stage and in the studio where I honed my craft before shifting my focus entirely to music education. I work with students who value technical precision in areas like improvisation and soloing or reading sheet music.

Developing chord transitions and strumming patterns can be demanding but also highly rewarding. It is satisfying to hear a student finally master a complex power chord or refine their lead guitar work. Keeping my own musical habits sharp while teaching scales and modes remains an enjoyable part of my daily routine."

About the lesson

"You will gain immediate control over your instrument during our time together. My 13 years of experience ensure that we spend time on tuning and maintenance alongside actual playing.

You can expect a practice module with every lesson to keep momentum high. These exercises bridge the gap between studio theory and real performance.

I prefer to keep my instructional style direct so you leave feeling musically capable. We focus on audible progress rather than vague concepts during these sessions. My goal is to ensure you feel comfortable with your progress before we conclude."
