About Lillian
13 years as a quant preceded my 8 years of experience teaching mathematics. I leverage my PhD from MIT to break down coordinate geometry, trigonometry, and arithmetic.
My background includes a heavy focus on linear algebra and complex word problems. I enjoy teaching students how to apply mental math and Vedic math techniques to gain a competitive edge.
These skills are essential for high-stakes testing like the SAT or ACT. I often find that my most advanced learners appreciate the intersection of statistics and pure math. Transitioning from a fintech career to teaching has provided me with a unique perspective on the utility of numbers.
