Starting the initial session involves an audit of your current syntax and vocabulary gaps, ensuring we build upon a structural foundation rather than guesswork. Since I hold an MA Applied Linguistics from the University of Cambridge, I integrate empirical research into our practice to ensure every minute is spent reinforcing specific linguistic patterns.
You will receive free access to my vocabulary notes which function as a roadmap for your independent study between our meetings. The flow of our time together relies on a mix of diagnostic exercises and targeted feedback that clarifies why certain expressions function the way they do. By focusing on the mechanics of English, we ensure that your progress remains measurable and consistent across all academic requirements. I find that analysing the nuances of discourse patterns is the most rewarding part of the process for both of us.
