About Kristen
"Dynamics and expression flow from my fingertips during our initial meetings. My 13 years of experience allows me to guide adults and working professionals through complex chord voicing and jazz improvisation without feeling overwhelmed.
I hold a diploma from the Musicians Institute Hollywood. This formal background supports my work with hundreds of students who want to play contemporary music alongside classical repertoire. We treat the piano as a primary tool for musical growth. I find that most people just want to play songs they actually listen to."

"Playing music should feel simple. My Musicians Institute training keeps the process focused on results. We cover pedalling technique and sight reading in every block. Grade exam prep for ABRSM or Trinity fits into the schedule easily.
Hobbyists appreciate how I break down memorisation techniques. I share a progress tracker with parents every month. This keeps everyone updated on the weekly goals.
