Ever wonder how native speakers actually manage those tricky nasal sounds? I am a Montreal working session player with a Bachelor of Arts in Music from McGill University.
My roots are in the chanson tradition of Vigneault and Leloup, which keeps my French lessons grounded in real culture. Having taught 497 students over 13 years, I understand the hurdle of picking up a new language as an adult. My approach is laid-back and practical rather than strictly academic. I specialize in helping immigrants and hobbyists navigate the nuances of Québécois speech.
We focus on idioms that make you sound like a local. Verb conjugation becomes much easier when you hear it in lyrics. I have seen many intermediate learners struggle with simple accent and intonation. You can reach out for a free trial lesson to assess your level.
