About Ayla

I am a passionate singing tutor with over 6 years of experience and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Vocal Studies. My journey has been shaped by blending classical vocal training with modern studio technology to help students thrive in today’s music world. I incorporate tools such as DAWs, vocal processors, and professional studio mics to give my students real experience in recording and songwriting. I specialize in guiding singers through genres like R&B, Soul, Acoustic Pop, and Contemporary Christian. Each lesson focuses on lyric interpretation, tone shaping, harmonies, and phrasing to bring out authentic emotion and storytelling in every performance. I believe singing is both an art and a craft, and my teaching bridges both worlds. Whether you are a hobbyist who simply loves to sing or an aspiring recording artist preparing for the studio, I adapt lessons to fit your goals. My approach is supportive, creative, and practical, helping you grow in confidence while developing your unique sound. About the lesson

My teaching approach focuses on vocal wellness, mindfulness, and long-term voice care. Every session begins with gentle warm-ups that awaken the voice without strain, followed by mindful breathwork to center both body and mind. I emphasize hydration habits and healthy vocal placement to protect the voice while allowing students to explore their full range.

For The Soloist in Training, lessons balance technical precision with mental calm. We track progress using vocal tracking apps, helping students notice patterns and celebrate small wins. Guided breathwork tools support relaxation before performances, reducing anxiety and promoting confident expression.

For The Church Ensemble Player, I encourage mindful listening and blending, while ensuring each voice stays supported and healthy. Mindfulness timers and simple exercises help cultivate presence, allowing singers to connect with both music and community.

Both personas learn to balance their vocal goals with joy in singing. The focus is not only on performance but also on sustaining the voice with care, mindfulness, and passion.
