About Gray
I am a Mathematics tutor with over 14 years of teaching experience and a BSc in Mathematics. During this time, I have helped many students from advanced high school and early university levels build strong mathematical thinking. My teaching focuses on mathematical logic and proof theory, which are essential for understanding higher-level mathematics.
I guide students through formal reasoning step by step so they learn how to construct clear and correct arguments. Lessons cover propositional logic, predicate logic, and foundational set theory. These topics are introduced through thought-provoking paradoxes, structured proofs, and challenging problem solving. Students learn not only how to solve problems but also how to explain why the solutions work.
I also support learners studying subjects connected to mathematics such as philosophy, computer science, and pure mathematics. Many students come to strengthen their analytical thinking for university courses or research preparation. I focus on clarity, patience, and logical structure in every session. My goal is to help students develop confidence in rigorous reasoning.

My teaching approach in mathematics focuses on building confidence and curiosity step by step. I create a nurturing and personalized learning environment where every student feels comfortable exploring ideas and asking questions. Lessons include core topics such as elementary mathematics, middle school math, algebra, geometry, calculus, and SAT math preparation. I also introduce engaging areas like logic puzzles, recreational mathematics, and simple game theory to make learning enjoyable.
Students practice applying mathematical concepts to everyday situations so they can see how math works in real life. I encourage playful exploration through puzzles, patterns, and strategy based activities that strengthen logical thinking. Each session is carefully structured but flexible enough to match the student’s pace and learning style.
I actively guide learners through assignments, exam preparation, and problem solving strategies so they can perform with confidence. I also work closely with families by sharing progress and ways to support learning at home. Curiosity is celebrated, and questions are always welcome. With patience, encouragement, and clear explanations, students gradually develop strong skills and a deeper appreciation for the fun side of mathematics.
