About Andreia

Hello! My name is Andreia and I am a dedicated Early Years practitioner with over five years of experience working with young children across nursery, preschool, holiday camp, and educational settings throughout London.

I currently work as an Early Years Programme Lead and Camp Manager, where I plan and deliver structured learning programmes for children aged 0–10 on a daily basis. My practice is grounded in the Early Years Foundation Stage framework and I am passionate about creating learning experiences that are nurturing, engaging, and genuinely effective for every individual child.

I understand that choosing the right tutor for your child is an important decision, and I want you to feel completely confident from the very first session. Every child I work with receives a patient, personalised approach — I take the time to understand how they learn best before diving in, ensuring that sessions feel comfortable, fun, and productive rather than pressured.

I hold an Enhanced DBS certificate, Paediatric First Aid, Safeguarding & Child Protection Level 2, and ADHD & Autism Awareness Level 2 — so you can be assured that your child's safety and wellbeing is always my first priority alongside their learning.

Whether your child needs support with phonics, early reading, numeracy, or school readiness, I am here to give them the individual attention, encouragement, and expert support they deserve to grow in both ability and confidence.

About the lesson

My approach to tutoring is rooted in over five years of hands-on experience working with young children across nursery, holiday camp, and early years settings. I believe that children learn best when they feel safe, seen, and genuinely engaged — so every session I deliver is warm, structured, and tailored to the individual child's pace and personality.

I draw on play-based learning, visual tools, and multisensory techniques to make phonics, literacy, and numeracy feel exciting rather than overwhelming. Rather than drilling children with repetition, I create interactive, themed activities that connect learning to things children already love and understand — making sessions feel less like a lesson and more like an adventure. This approach is grounded in the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework, which I work with daily in my professional practice.

My sessions are typically 45 to 60 minutes long — long enough to cover meaningful ground, short enough to keep young learners focused and energised throughout.
