About Lucy
I have a teacher who is one of the best people I have ever met, she has made such a massive positive impact on me. I want to be that for someone else. I absolutely adore kids and will help them in every way I can every step of the way. Teaching is more than a career for me; it’s a way to give back. I want to be the teacher that students get excited to have, the one that not only has the knowledge but the ability to deliver it in a relatable way. I want to be the kind of teacher who helps students believe in themselves, stay curious, and feel supported. I know how much of a difference a good teacher can make, and I’m excited to one day become that difference for someone else.

I believe that teaching isn't just about giving kids information and making them memorize it. I will meet my students where they are and use knowledge from various online courses to build the best plan I can for them. I offer a survey that students and/or parents can do that will offer me insight into the best way they learn. I don't have specific experience as a tutor but I do have experience working as a CSA (classroom support assistant) at a primary school in Canberra. My lessons are for from kindy - year 8. For lower levels of primary school, I offer some math and general science tutoring but my main focus is on biology.
