About Shiri
I have been giving lessons for 5 years with experience with all ages across primary school and high school. I have taught 6 different students which has helped them towards school tests, covering any gaps in their understanding and preparing them for GCSE exams. I received top grades in maths and physics GCSE and am currently studying both at A-level and will be doing a degree in physics. I am very passionate about physics and maths inside and outside of school and am very happy to use that enthusiasm and skill set to tutor students who need extra help.

I cater my style to the student that I am teaching so that they can get the most out of it. I can teach topics by explaining it to them so that they have the understanding, or go through examples and questions to help them apply their knowledge. I can use visual tools such as graphs and diagrams to make the content simple to understand. I can also guide students as they try to understand something themselves so I will encourage them to think of the answer on their own and try examples with me there to help if they get stuck. I can answer any questions they have and explain concepts in many different ways including using analogies so that they can grasp the concepts easily and see how they apply in the real world. Overall, I provide students with a core and deep understanding of the topic they are learning and also give them the skills to answer questions and apply the concepts. I encourage questions and will teach in the way that each individual student finds the most helpful.
