About Casey

My name is Casey Coles. I am a year 12 student at Applecross Senior High School. I am planning to do a dual degree in broadcasting and journalism at Edith Cowan University. I have done certificates on top of my school studies such as certificate III in screen and media as well as I am currently completing a certificate IV in community services. I also do ATAR drama where I have to analyze plays and write extended responses in more detail. I am confident in English and I am averaging a 91.1%. I love reading and I am also confident in public speaking since I am deputy head girl at my school. I am excited to help students in year 11 and below who are wanting to extend their knowledge in English.

About the lesson

I am flexible to lessons that fit into your schedule and would ask for your main focus for each session. I would go through the school curriculum to show you what the teachers want to see in your responses while making sure you understand the units. We will do example tests and I will also teach you the TEEL approach that you are taught in high school. I will also look at marking keys with you to ensure you understand the marking system.

Excellent! It's early days at the moment, but Casey has already done a great job at engaging Lily with her English lessons. Things are starting to make more sense to her at school, so we are hopeful it'll continue !!
