About Steph

Dear future learners,

My name is Steph, and I am a Year 11 student at St. Peter Girls School. I am pleased to have the opportunity to assist all of you with any English difficulties you may be experiencing. I want you to know that I am a really joyful and caring person who actually enjoys assisting others in their educational path.

I struggled with the English language when I was your age. However, by dedication and earning valuable English experience, I was able to overcome those obstacles. Now I want to share the knowledge and skills I've gained with all of you.

I am happy to share that I received an IELTS score of 8.0, demonstrating my command of the English language. In addition, on my report card last year, I constantly received an A in English.

I am extremely excited to meet each and every one of you. We can work together to improve your English skills, whether they be reading, writing, speaking, or listening. I will be available to guide you, answer your questions, and offer you with the skills and resources you need to succeed.

Remember that learning English can be joyful and satisfying, and I am here to help you along the way. Let's go on this thrilling adventure together!

About the lesson

As an experienced tutor, I provide complete guidance to students in a variety of areas, including homework aid, language development, and writing correction. Here's how I usually organise my classes:

Homework Assistance: I help students comprehend their homework assignments and guide them through the process of completing their assignments. This includes clarifying concepts, providing examples, and providing step-by-step instructions to assist students in solving issues or completing assignments successfully.

Language Development: I work with younger students in levels 1-9 to improve their language abilities, which include reading, writing, listening, and speaking. To engage pupils and make language learning pleasurable, I use interactive activities, games, and exercises. I also offer vocabulary-building tasks, grammar explanations, and practise opportunities to help them improve their language skills.

Writing Correction: I assist students in improving their writing skills by reviewing their work, providing critical feedback, and recommending ways to improve their clarity, coherence, grammar, and overall writing style. I provide advice on how to structure paragraphs, organise thoughts, use proper vocabulary, and construct effective arguments.

Lesson Duration: Because younger kids have lower attention spans, I find that shorter sessions of 30-45 minutes are often more appropriate. This permits us to stay focused and productive during each session. Longer sessions of 60-90 minutes can be allowed for senior students who can manage extended periods of focused learning.
