About Charlotte
I'm a year 10 student who is currently undertaking two Unit 1/2 subjects as advanced placements: VCE English and VCE Legal Studies. Both rely strongly on writing ability, and I consistently rank 1st in the cohort in both subjects. I adore writing and I am the published author of two books, and I would love to help other people achieve their goals in English!
I am passionate about helping people, and have had extensive experience working with younger kids from various leadership activities, volunteering, and refereeing junior basketball each week. I understand the importance of a supportive environment when learning, and would happily and patiently assist any student in need. I look forward to working with students to improve their skills and grow their confidence!

In my lessons, I'll focus on helping students understand concepts and their current focus material, building strong foundations and filling in gaps in their learning. I understand that it can be hard to ask questions and receive personalised help in large classes at school, so I make it a goal to provide students with any support they need in a non-judgemental, helpful atmosphere.
I'll help with any school or tutoring materials, as well as provide some tasks that I believe will help the individual student. As a high-achieving English student, I'm particularly passionate about helping people with their writing skills. A lot of emphasis will be put on polishing writing abilities, and I will correct and review their work. I'll make sure to explain to students the different ways in which they can enhance their writing and create more eloquent pieces of work. I love creative writing, being a published fantasy author, so I will encourage students to expand their thinking to craft pieces that stand out through unique concepts and ideas.
My lessons are primarily targeted towards primary school students, as I am patient and passionate about helping children build strong foundational skills. I also tutor Year 7–8 students and can help prepare them for the transition into the VCE curriculum.
