About Shindia
I grew up in New York, Manhattan when I was 5 years old. I remember that I only spoke Spanish. Kids at school used to bother me. But once I was 7, I was able to speak English a little bit until I was fully fluent in English. I try my best. I always like to help others and teach them how to speak English and be confident in themselves. There’s nothing to be ashamed of. You need to say to yourself: I can do it.

I teach in a way that anyone can understand. I am patient and kind. I also speak Spanish. But I mostly speak English and read and write. When we live in a place that has another culture and language, it is hard to understand. But when you learn the basics, you will find that it is not hard at all. I met a woman one time. She only knew Spanish and I asked her how long she has lived in Florida. She said 6 years. And I asked her if she knows how to speak English a little bit. She said no. And said, I’m afraid to speak it. I told her don’t be afraid. Just try your best. Also, I told her to use the translation to communicate with others. I tell this because nothing should stop you from speaking and learning the English language.
