About Dorcy

I am a writer who has occupied various professional writing jobs and has been writing stories and poems since elementary school. I earned a BA in English from Lewis & Clark College in Portland, Oregon. I have been working with students for years helping with revising essays, preparing for tests, and a variety of other academic duties.

About the lesson

I believe that academic lessons should be personalized to cater best to the students and how they learn. I give individual attention to each student and adapt my teaching depending on what they are most receptive to. I am a great listener and love talking about literature, writing, and other aspects of English. I also aim to connect with every student I teach.
