About Elliott
I've been working directly with college students (from freshmen surviving their first day to doctoral students trying to put their thesis to bed) for almost a decade. I've helped hundreds of students become more confident, comfortable, and capable writers. While my background is in the humanities, I've spent five years working in scientific writing, so I'm here to support you in whatever discipline you find yourself writing in.
(Despite popular misconceptions, there is no grammatical rule against ending a sentence with a preposition.)

I work with undergraduates, graduate students, and high school students on their way to college who want to become comfortable with academic writing. I can work with you at any point in your writing process, from initial brainstorming to final draft. More than anything else, though, I work with students who already have a draft (whether complete or not) of a writing project that we can look at together, providing critique, guidance, and encouragement.
