About Laura

I am currently an English, French and German Teacher at a language institute.
I am a language enthusiast and I have experience helping beginners improve their language skills.
I lived in Germany for 5 years and now I am based in Prague, so I am teaching online, via Skype.

About the lesson

Are you a beginner, struggling with learning English, French or German? I can help you.
We will discuss in our first, free of charge, course your language skills, your purpose and the methods I propose.
I use interactive materials to introduce you to the language structure (grammar, vocabulary, reading and speaking.)

1. German for beginners

Are you a beginner, struggling with learning German? I can teach you German from 0, with no previous knowledge, through English, French or Spanish.

2. General language courses A1-B1

I will test your level during the first lesson and based on your results, you will start an appropriate course for your level. I use Menschen Interactive Coursebooks and additional materials.

3. Conversational German

Do you want to speak German fluently? Then take a conversational German class. We will discuss different topics.

4. Exams and Certificates – for studies or work

From A1 to A2 and B1, I can prepare you for a German language exam in order to study or work in Germany. I use specific books for each exam level.

5. Medical German – for doctors or nurses

If you are a doctor or a nurse who wants to relocate to Germany, I can start preparing you in this area of the German language.

6. Business German

If you are working in a multinational company and would like to improve your business language skills, I can teach you business German, right from the beginning, from A1. For this course, I use DAF im Unternehmen (A1, A2, B1) Interactive Coursebooks.

7. German for IT and engineers

Learn technical German! If you are an engineer, a programmer or an IT Specialist or even a student in a technical field, we can go through specific terminology and courses.

8. German for children

Would you like your children to be well prepared for the future and speak already German? I use Planetino 1, 2 or 3 Interactive Coursebooks for teaching them.

9. Job Interview Training

We discuss in this course structured questions that you could be asked in your job interview and we will prepare it, so that you can impress positively your future employer.
