About Sathya
I am a passionate educator dedicated to sharing Sri Lanka’s language, culture, and heritage with learners from all backgrounds. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in International Relations, which has strengthened my understanding of global cultures, geography, and education.
I specialize in Sinhala language, Sri Lankan traditional dancing, and Sri Lankan geography. My teaching approach is patient, engaging, and learner-focused, ensuring lessons are enjoyable while building strong foundational knowledge and cultural appreciation.
Through my lessons, I aim to help students develop confidence in communication, understand Sri Lanka’s rich traditions, and connect deeply with its history and cultural identity.

I offer engaging and culturally rich lessons in Sinhala language, Sri Lankan traditional dancing, and Sri Lankan geography. My lessons are designed for beginners as well as learners who want to deepen their understanding of Sri Lanka’s language, heritage, and traditions.
• Sinhala Language Lessons
Learn to speak, read, and understand Sinhala through practical conversations, pronunciation practice, basic grammar, and everyday vocabulary. Lessons are friendly, clear, and adapted to your learning pace.
• Traditional Sri Lankan Dancing
Explore the beauty of Sri Lankan traditional dance forms, including basic movements, rhythms, expressions, and cultural meaning behind each dance. Lessons focus on technique, posture, and confidence while respecting tradition.
• Sri Lankan Geography & Culture
Discover Sri Lanka’s geography, provinces, climate, natural resources, and famous landmarks. Lessons also include cultural insights, history, and traditions to help you fully understand the country.
My teaching style is patient, interactive, and learner-focused, making lessons enjoyable and meaningful. Whether you are learning for travel, cultural interest, or personal growth, I aim to help you connect deeply with Sri Lanka’s language and heritage.
