About Nora

I am deeply passionate about helping students improve and achieve their musical goals.
My lessons are fully personalized, tailored to your level, interests, and aspirations.
Whether you are a singer-songwriter, classical guitarist, jazz enthusiast, or electric/acoustic player, I will create a lesson plan that fits you perfectly.
For hobbyists, we can design a fun, relaxed, and enjoyable learning experience. Everything is tailored to your goals!
For advanced players, I offer advanced jazz improvisation, fingerstyle and plectrum techniques, and chord melody arranging for solo guitar.
But beginners, please don't be discouraged! I accept beginners and enjoy teaching basics to set you up for life with good habits so you don't have to change your hand position again after studying with an inexperienced teacher. I cover classical guitar finger technique and plectrum/pick technique for electric and acoustic steel string guitar guitar.

My teaching experience includes working as a Guitar Mentor for the USA Sonora Guitar Mastery Intensive, delivering a 3-month curriculum and private lessons via Zoom.
I hold a degree in jazz guitar and have also studied classical and flamenco guitar, arranging, and composition.

I have been a professional gigging guitarist for over 25 years and have extensive experience teaching beginners of all ages (from 6 year olds to 70 year olds) .
I am dedicated, enthusiastic, and committed to helping every student find their own voice on the guitar. Let’s work together to make your musical journey both fun and fulfilling!

About the lesson

Are you ready to embark on a musical journey with a passionate guitarist who has over 25 years of teaching and gigging experience? I hold a jazz guitar degree and have a rich background in classical and flamenco guitar. As a session guitarist, I cover pop, rock, blues, and funk.

Whether you're a complete beginner or have been playing for decades, I tailor lessons to your needs. My students range from 5 to 65 years old.
