About Tristan

I am a committed and enthusiastic ESL tutor with 11 years of experience teaching High School and College students, helping around 150–200 learners improve their English communication skills. My teaching philosophy is centred on student growth, confidence, and practical learning.

I believe that students should not only learn English but also feel comfortable using it in real-life situations. I create a positive and interactive learning environment where students feel encouraged to express themselves. I use a variety of teaching methods, including conversations, exercises, and real-life examples, to make lessons effective.

I also adapt my teaching style to suit each student’s needs. One of my proud achievements is seeing students improve their fluency and achieve better academic results. I am dedicated to helping students succeed and reach their full potential.

About the lesson

My ESL teaching approach focuses on creativity, critical thinking, mentorship, and accountability. I believe that students learn best when lessons are interactive and connected to real life. I use creative techniques like storytelling, role-play, and conversations to help students practise English in a natural way.

I encourage critical thinking by asking students to share opinions, solve problems, and explain their ideas. This improves both language skills and confidence. As a mentor, I guide students patiently and support them at every step. I understand that each student is different, so I adapt my teaching style to meet their needs.

Accountability is important in my classes. I set clear goals and encourage students to stay consistent with practice. I monitor progress and provide feedback regularly. Along with ESL, I also teach related subjects to support overall learning. My goal is to build confident and independent learners.
