My approach is to explain each method we work on together in multiple ways so students can understand not only how to do a math skill but to understand the concepts behind each skill. Understanding why we do certain things in math helps us understand more deeply, making it easier to recall how to do the topics we learn in class! I am very positive and like to encourage the people I work with.
