About Joshua
Who I Am
I am an incoming LLB Law student at the University of Bristol, having recently completed my A-Levels in Wales with A* in Business, A in Law, and A in Economics. Having sat these exact WJEC/Eduqas exams myself the past two years, I know the syllabus, the mark schemes, and the common pitfalls inside out.
Why I Teach
WJEC is notoriously under-resourced compared to other exam boards, leaving many capable students struggling to find clear guidance on how to score top marks. I want to bridge that gap. Having recently navigated the step up from GCSE to A-Level success, I know firsthand that mastering exam technique is the fastest way to transform your grades. My goal is to pass on the exact, practical essay frameworks that worked for me so you can achieve your full potential and secure your firm university choice.

Generic tutoring doesn't work for WJEC, the mark schemes are far too specific. My lessons are entirely personalised around the exact areas where you are losing marks, using the system that secured my own A in Business and A in Law* (alongside an A in Economics and entry to Bristol Law).
Who I Teach: GCSE:
and A-Level Business and Law students taking the WJEC / Eduqas exam board who want to jump a grade or lock in top marks for university offers.
My Methodology:
To achieve top-band answers, you must write a balanced yet definitive essay—no matter the subject. I focus heavily on honing Analysis (AO3) and Evaluation (AO4) marks, training students to structure clear, high-scoring conclusions using my proven KAEE framework (Knowledge, Application, Analysis, Evaluation).
