With 8 years of experience and a Doctor of Musical Arts (DMA) in Guitar Performance, I specialize in preparing students for high-stakes auditions and professional opportunities. Whether it’s for touring bands, recording sessions, or advanced composition programs, I focus on unlocking each student’s full performance and creative potential. I understand that succeeding in these environments requires more than just technical skill—it takes confidence, artistry, and mental preparation. My lessons are tailored to develop all aspects of musicianship, including technique, expression, and stage presence. I work closely with students to build strong practice habits and effective audition strategies. I enjoy guiding learners through challenging repertoire and helping them find their unique musical voice. In addition to technical mastery, I emphasize the importance of mindset and resilience. About the lesson

My teaching method focuses on blending creative expression with strong technical skills, especially in lead guitar playing. I help students develop their soloing abilities by working on phrasing, improvisation, and essential techniques like bends and vibrato in blues and rock styles. Each lesson is designed to unlock the unique voice within every player.

We explore scales, patterns, and musical ideas to build confidence and freedom in improvisation. Tone, timing, and feel are key elements I emphasize to ensure solos are not just played but felt. I encourage experimenting with phrasing to create solos that truly express your personality.

I connect well with learners who love jazz and those seeking a rebellious edge in their music. My goal is to help you refine your soloing skills and play with assurance.
