About Niko

I’m a guitar tutor with 9 years of teaching experience and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Guitar Studies. I also regularly perform and compose music, which helps me stay inspired and connected to my craft. For me, music is more than just playing notes—it’s a creative skill that grows and evolves throughout life. I work with both beginners and advanced players, tailoring lessons to each student’s goals and abilities. Whether you’re just starting out or looking to refine your technique, I focus on building a strong foundation while encouraging personal expression. My teaching style balances technical skills with creativity, making learning both effective and enjoyable. I believe every student has a unique voice, and my role is to help you find and develop yours. We explore different genres, techniques, and songs that inspire you. About the lesson

My teaching method blends technical skill with creative freedom, tailored to each student’s style and goals. I emphasize ear training to help students recognize notes, chords, and rhythms by sound, which is essential for improvisation and performance. Alongside this, I focus on music theory to build a strong foundation that supports confident playing.

Performance coaching is a key part of my lessons. I help students develop stage presence, timing, and expression, so they feel comfortable and natural when playing live. I use modern tools like DAWs, amp simulators, and metronome apps to make practice engaging and efficient. These tools help track progress and develop precision.

Whether a student leans towards complex jazz or rebellious rock styles, I tailor exercises and songs to fit their interests. Personalized instruction means every lesson is relevant and motivating. I encourage creativity through improvisation and composition. My goal is to help students not just play guitar, but express themselves fully and confidently.
