About Aria

I am a guitar tutor with 3 years of teaching experience and a Bachelor of Music in Composition with a Guitar Emphasis. Alongside teaching, I actively perform and compose, which keeps my lessons connected to real musical practice. My passion lies in acoustic fingerstyle and classical guitar performance. I guide both beginners and advanced players through the fundamentals and the artistry of music. For beginners, I create a supportive environment where curiosity and exploration are encouraged. For advanced students, I focus on intricate arrangements, refined technique, and deeper self-expression. I believe music is not only a skill but also a lifelong journey of creativity. Lessons emphasize nuance, musicality, and personal voice on the instrument. I use a balance of technical exercises and creative projects to inspire growth. Every student’s goals shape the direction of our work together. My aim is to foster a genuine love for the guitar. Together, we will explore how music can be both structured and free, disciplined and deeply expressive.

About the lesson

My teaching approach focuses on making music theory practical and accessible on the guitar. I guide students in understanding scales, modes, and chord construction in a way that can be immediately applied. Harmonic analysis is introduced to help learners see how music is built. Lessons show how theory shapes improvisation and composition. I work with both beginners and advanced players. The Aspiring Rock Star gains tools to improvise and create riffs confidently. The Classical Purist strengthens interpretation and musical understanding. Each lesson combines fretboard exercises with real musical examples. I emphasize translating theoretical knowledge into fluent playing. Students build a foundation that supports creativity and technical skill. Lessons are adapted to personal goals and pace. I encourage exploration while maintaining structured learning. Together, we uncover the connections between theory and musical expression.
