About Thalita
Graduated in Letters - Portuguese/English, recently completed a postgraduate course in English Language Teaching. In addition, I have a Pedagogical Practice course and EAD tutoring, that is, I have knowledge for in-person and online teaching.
I have been an English teacher since 2008 and currently I also work with Aeronautical English, developing specific materials for this area.

If the student is looking for English classes in order to learn the language for day-to-day use, I use books aimed at the level the student is at, doing classes entirely in English from the first contact or not; I prefer to have a conversation with the student and understand their expectations and possible traumas.
If the student is looking for classes for the aeronautical English proficiency tests, I use support material and we study the structure of the test, since the student needs to be prepared for a specific moment.
However, I prefer the communicative approach, as I believe it is the most effective way to learn to speak a new language.
