About Brooke
I hold a Bachelor's degree in Spanish Language and Literature, with over six years of teaching experience, including one dedicated year working with adult beginners. My academic background provided me with deep insight into Spanish grammar, linguistics, and cultural nuances, which I integrate into every lesson to create a comprehensive learning experience. I’ve had the opportunity to teach students from diverse backgrounds, adapting my methods to suit individual learning styles and goals. My teaching journey began in language centers and expanded to private tutoring, where I’ve helped students prepare for exams, improve conversational fluency, and develop their written Spanish skills. I focus not only on the mechanics of the language but also on cultural fluency—understanding customs, expressions, and regional differences that bring Spanish to life. I believe that language learning should be both practical and enjoyable. I incorporate real-life scenarios, music, short films, and storytelling into my lessons to make learning Spanish engaging and relevant. My approach is patient and encouraging, fostering a space where students feel comfortable making mistakes and confident in their progress.
