About Louis
While working in the Education field, as a paraprofessional and a tutor, I contributed to the students’ success by achieving their goal in obtaining their GED/Diploma and beyond. Also, as an Academic Coach at Price University, I give one to one tutoring for their Mid-term and Final exams. Moreover, I helped make a difference to the many who suffered from total illiteracy to functional illiteracy-- a literacy program called Learning Is For Everyone (L.I.F.E.). My accomplishments include but not limited to: Assisted in giving instructions through lectures, discussions, and demonstrations in all five subjects. Assisted in typing out daily agendas and establish clear objectives for all lessons and communicate those objectives to the students. I was chosen Best Top 10 tutors.com of 2022 program.

Using Math as a subject example, learning the basic rules and important information and tips is half our
battle in solving math problems. Also, knowing the relationship to math operation is necessary: Addition is the cousin to subtraction; multiplication is the cousin to division; division is the cousin to fractions; decimals is the cousin to percents. We would not know how to do a division problem if we do not know how to multiply. One of my methods is definitely incorporating math drills. It is to strengthen us in one area to solve problems in another area of math. One strong tool I like to use is Powerpoint because I believe visual is an effective method in learning.
