About Helena
As an English reading tutor, my goal is to help students improve their reading comprehension skills and build confidence. My teaching method focuses on interaction and personalization. I create custom reading plans based on each student's interests and learning goals. Using a variety of reading materials and interactive activities, I aim to improve reading skills in a fun and engaging environment.
A typical lesson includes the following parts:
1. Warm-up: A brief reading or discussion to spark interest.
2. Reading Practice: Reading and comprehension exercises using articles or books suitable for the student's level.
3. Vocabulary and Grammar: Explanation and practice of key vocabulary and grammar points from the reading material.
4. Interactive Discussion: Discussion questions and sharing insights to deepen understanding of the reading material.
5. Summary and Feedback: Summarize the lesson and provide feedback and suggestions to the student.
