About Amy

Overall, I’ve been complimented on my bubbly, friendly personality that creates a welcoming and safe space for tutees to reach their individual goals in their academic journeys. Allowing for kids to not only learn in this way, but do so in a way they can connect with and feel inspired by is central to my passion for teaching. I believe this to develop an enthusiasm for knowledge that remains long after our tutoring sessions.

About the lesson

I have found that my secret to maintaining my consistent top marks has been using a wide variety of learning methods and so my tutoring is tailored to the techniques that best suit your learning style. This includes PowerPoint visuals to cuecards with vey words and everything in between! Have found that 45-60min lessons work best to provide a fun learning environment that within a standard concentration span.
I’ve worked with kids of a variety of ages and personalities and so am very flexible in adapting to my tutees’ needs as they progress up to A Levels. I have had some experience with kids with special needs as well.
