About JAMES

Hello!

I am an enthusiastic and detailed tutor with a lot of experience working in schools.

Both my parents were teachers and I actually grew up in a house attached to a school! Owing to this, teaching has always been a part of my life.

Before I went to university, I spent a year as a full-time Teaching Assistant in a Primary School and now, when I am not working as an actor, I take every opportunity I can to teach. I currently have a recurring placement with an SEN school in East London where I work as a Teaching Assistant.

I have experience teaching Mainstream, SEN and MLD students from ages 5-18.

I have an enhanced DBS Clearance and am a member of the Update Service.

My specialist subjects are Drama, English Literature and Language, Philosophy, LAMDA Examinations, Public Speak, Confidence Coaching, Graphic Design, PE, Anatomy and Physiology and ICT.

Perfect! Fantastic tutor!
My daughter has been taking English lessons with James online for over a month now. She is coming along beautifully, I cannot recommend James enough. Her confidence is growing and her ability improving - she is also eager to learn with him, which is wonderful to see. James manages to keep my daughter fully engaged for the whole hour, which is some task, my daughter is only 6! She finds phonics/reading particularly hard. James is helping her make sense of it all and allowing her the confidence to shine. I highly recommend James.

Perfect! I can't speak highly enough of James
I can't speak highly enough of James as a teacher. Always meticulously prepared for lessons and bursting with energy, he is able to instil confidence in a way that few other can. He's one of the most dedicated teachers I know, able to bring out the best in students, and I would recommend him to students of all ages. All my children have been studying with James, and they are between 14 and 22 years old.

I can't speak highly enough of James as a teacher. Always meticulously prepared for lessons and bursting with energy, he is able to instil confidence in a way that few other can.
