Hey Everyone! Thanks for stopping by!! I've been a teacher for over 10 years, and I've taught in places like the U.S., Japan, and Jamaica — so I've met a LOT of awesome students like you! I have a Master's degree in Education, and I love helping kids become rockstars in English Language Arts and Math. When you work with me, you’ll see that learning can actually be fun. About the lesson

I’ve had the amazing opportunity to teach in the United States, Japan, and Jamaica. These international experiences have taught me how to connect with students of all backgrounds and learning styles.

Working with me is all about clarity, encouragement, and fun. I believe learning should feel like an exciting adventure—not a chore. Whether you're mastering math, building reading skills, or getting ready for a big test, I’ll guide you step by step with patience, positivity, and personalized strategies that really work.

As a teacher, my goal is to help students succeed by using proven teaching methods that are personalized, engaging, and effective. Here’s an overview of the strategies I use and what a typical lesson with me looks like:

Differentiated Instruction
I tailor lessons to match each student’s learning style (visual, auditory, kinesthetic, etc.) and readiness level, ensuring they stay challenged but not overwhelmed.

Scaffolded Learning
I break down complex concepts into manageable steps, gradually building independence and confidence.

Interactive & Hands-On Activities
Whether it’s using manipulatives in math or engaging texts in ELA, I incorporate interactive tasks to make learning meaningful and memorable.

Frequent Feedback
I provide immediate, constructive feedback so students know where they stand and how to improve.

Goal-Setting and Progress Monitoring
I help students set clear learning goals and track their progress regularly to keep motivation high.

Use of Technology
I integrate online tools and educational apps to make lessons dynamic and accessible, especially in virtual settings.

What a Typical Lesson Looks Like

Warm-Up (5 minutes)
Quick review or brain teaser to activate prior knowledge and set the tone.

Mini-Lesson (10–15 minutes)
Focused teaching of a skill or concept using modeling, examples, and visuals.

Guided Practice (15 minutes)
We work together on a few problems or tasks, with me offering support and prompting as needed.

Independent Practice (10-15 minutes)
The student applies what they’ve learned on their own while I observe and assist when necessary.

Review & Wrap-Up (5 minutes)
This is the lesson's debrief so we reflect on the day’s learning, revisit goals, and talk about next steps or homework.

These lessons are designed for elementary school students, typically in grades Grades 3–5, who need support in:

English Language Arts (ELA) – including reading comprehension, grammar, writing, and vocabulary.

Math – including foundational skills, problem-solving, fractions, and word problems.
