About Juliet
I completed my leaving cert in 2021 when COVID-19 had turned the school into online learning. During this time I felt I didn't have enough support and did not have my needs met as a student and left to my own devices. I am now a third-year Nursing student and Biology is such a passion of mine that I cover on a day-to-day basis in acute settings. One of my favorite pastimes is to read so it would not be unusual to find me with a medical journal in hand! Leaving Cert Biology can often be intimidating with its complex learning syllabus, but you need this to pursue your further studies. I would like to create an open learning space for students, suiting a pace for their learning needs and helping them achieve their best potential in leaving cert biology.

My teaching methods would be in the form of completing past examination papers, reviewing experiments, and comparing marking schemes. I would use our first lesson to get to know you, address your learning needs, and then develop a personal plan to cover each lesson. I would develop PowerPoint presentations covering what the student has told me and how the topic may present itself in the exam paper. I would like to create an open learning atmosphere where students can address where I can meet their learning needs and help them feel less intimidated by leaving cert biology.
