About Julie

Learn French with a patient and attentive teacher. Whether you’re preparing for a trip or simply want to have a chat, I’ll guide you at your own pace.

My name is Julie; I’m a 28-year-old Frenchwoman with a Master’s degree in Education Sciences, and I taught in a primary school in France for three years. I also speak English. I love traveling and the great outdoors, which is why I currently live in New Zealand.

About the lesson

I teach to adults who wants to learn a new language, whether to prepare for a trip or to develop their skills.
Intermediate and advanced learners are also welcome, whether they wish to maintain their level or improve their fluency and vocabulary.

I offer 50-minute lessons. The first lesson is primarily an opportunity to get to know each other and discuss your goals, so that we can put together a program tailored to your needs.
Generally speaking, I like to focus on speaking practice, through guided conversations or role-plays. I also suggest using materials to work on between sessions, so that you can make real progress in each session. I constantly adapt to your needs by personalizing the exercises or revisiting the assigned material.

By the end of our sessions together, you’ll be well on your way to achieving your goal – whether that’s gaining confidence in speaking, improving your pronunciation, or traveling with greater confidence.
