About David

I began playing trumpet in middle school and earned first-chair placement throughout both middle school and high school. I still play as a hobby and enjoy helping beginners develop strong fundamentals, build confidence, and discover the same love for music that has stayed with me over the years.

About the lesson

Beginner Trumpet Lesson Format
Warm-up and breathing
Buzzing and tone exercises
Basic notes and fingerings
Rhythm and music reading
Practice a simple song
Review and weekly practice goals

Each beginner trumpet lesson focuses on building strong fundamentals in a relaxed and encouraging way. We’ll work on breathing, buzzing, tone production, basic notes, fingerings, rhythm, and reading music before applying those skills to simple songs. Every lesson ends with a quick review and clear practice goals so students know exactly what to work on between sessions.
