About Sophie

I’ve traveled the world through my career and studies, giving me a broad cultural perspective that I love to share. Having attended an American school from a young age, I am perfectly fluent in English, and I also speak Spanish fluently, thanks to living and working in Spain, Mexico, and Chile. I hold a Master’s degree in International Business and have worked as a project manager for international, state-of-the-art companies in France as well. I am based in Costa Mesa, California, but I also offer online lessons anywhere in the country. I tailor every lesson to your goals — whether you want to improve your conversational French, enhance your professional skills, or explore French culture.

Let’s start our first lesson by getting to know you and your French level. What’s your goal — traveling, work, or maybe keeping your New Year’s resolution to learn French? Do you want to focus on listening comprehension, speaking, or writing? Are you new to French and feeling a bit lost? My husband felt the same way when he started! I can also help you with professional French — writing applications, preparing for meetings, or learning business etiquette. I will customize our lessons to fit your objectives and your level, so every session is practical, enjoyable, and tailored to you.
