About Olivia
Many students have issues in specific subjects or topics which makes them hate it, my aim is to make them fall back in love with this subject. With my guidance they can boost their confidence and grades. The flexibility that I offer helps to work around other commitments and work. It is incredibly fulfilling to see a student improve and succeed, by mentoring students I can helpfully support them in their academic journey.

My aim is to work around the student as they all retain information differently. My main approach is to take a quiz to understand what they do know and focus on this rather than the negatives, from this point we'll work on the elements the student is confused on and develop them into a way they understand. My discovery has shown that mainly it's that the student is confused due to the lack of time to go over things in lesson, my teaching works alongside the teacher and develops what they have already been taught. I am dedicated to helping GCSE (Year 10 and 11) students, I have one year of experience. Each lesson can last up to an hour depending on how much intervention is required.
