My methodology of teaching is to provide a classroom environment where students are encouraged to express their own ideas & apply design thinking when engaging with different case studies & study material. I will encourage students to enjoy the robust interactions in the lessons & be challenged by the intellectual discussion of course material. My methodological approach to teaching & learning will be that the majority of students who attend my tutorials should feel that I care for them as individuals & that I value their contribution in discussions. Also, that I create an environment which inspires learning & encourages individual responsibility for one’s education, by expecting them to come prepared to the lessons through engaging with the course material prior to class. And finally, I believe that teaching entails a reciprocal relationship between teacher & learner. Hence embracing diversity & being tolerant of different points of view is of paramount importance.
