About Emma

I am currently half way through a masters by research in history at the University of Notre Dame, Fremantle. As a masters student, conducting my own research has taught me how much fun history can be. It has also helped me appreciate the support of a good teacher. I hope to pass on my passion for modern history to young students and help them develop important analytical and interpretative skills. I have a current working with children check.

About the lesson

Examining history is like putting the pieces of a puzzle together, a puzzle that helps us understand society better.

Hi I am Emma and I am a masters candidate at the University of Notre Dame with a focus on Australian modern and media history.

I aim to make the lessons fun and engaging with practical exercises in finding and interpreting sources at an ATAR level. I have time available Tuesdays, Wednesdays and on select weekends. The typical length of a lesson would be an hour, however, lesson lengths can be flexible.
