About Tammy
My journey with the piano began at the tender age of 5, and now I boast over 11 years of delightful musical experience.
Growing from China, I have actively participated in numerous national and international competitions, showcasing my talents on a global stage. Among these achievements, I proudly clinched the 2nd prize in the prestigious International Fryderyk Chopin Piano Competition for Children and Youth, distinguishing myself among millions of aspiring musicians. Now, as a student at Griffith Young Conservatorium, I am eager to continue my musical education and explore new horizons in pursuit of my Amus and Lmus degrees.
Beyond my love for the piano, I have a genuine passion for teaching, which is one of the driving forces behind my presence here. In fact, I have prior experience as an educator, having taught at KUMON Education.

When it comes to practicing music, I truly enjoy blending finger techniques with the original piece to help students achieve greater clarity in their playing.
Additionally, in each lesson, I incorporate some music theory to enhance students' understanding of the composer and the composition.
My lessons are primarily designed for aspiring piano enthusiasts, whether you're just starting out or at an intermediate level. Each session typically lasts between 30 minutes to an hour, ensuring a tailored learning experience.
