About Samantha

“I have always had a passion for music, growing from a childhood hobby to an ever-expanding career. I can’t imagine spending my life doing anything else, so when people ask, “If you could undertake any other career, what would it be?” I would always respond with something musical (composer, conductor, songwriter), music is a part of who I am, and I would never want to change that.“

Hi im Samantha,

I am a diligent teacher, fulled by my passion for music. I like to focus on making music lessons fun, engaging and relevant. I have over a decade of instrumental teaching experience teaching in music schools, primary and secondary schools and private practices.

I have had the oppourtunity to have studied performance on violin at the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts. I have also performed with many great well-known conductors, ensembles and orchestras. I have performed in both Australian and World premieres of new music, performed in film music and recordings. I have also performed with famous contemporary bands such as ACDC, Judas Priest, Noiseworks, Rose Tattoo, The Angels and Mondo Rock.

I have experience across multiple genres of music including classical, contemporary, folk, traditional, jazz, rock and pop. Not only DO I play on a traditional violin but I also perform on a Hardanger Fiddle, electric violin and a Stroh violin.

Currently I am working on writing and recording original music, as well as continuing to perform.

Lessons are in Armadale on Mondays and Wednesdays

and are in Forrestdale on Tuesdays and Thursdays
