About Elina

I hold a bachelor’s degree in music with a focus on vocal performance and have been teaching singing for over six years. My journey as a singer began at a young age through school choirs and solo performances, eventually evolving into formal training and a deep appreciation for the craft of vocal artistry. Teaching allows me to share this passion and help others discover the joy of singing. Throughout my teaching career, I’ve worked with a wide range of students—children, teens, and adults—across many genres, including classical, pop, jazz, and musical theater. I take a personalized approach to instruction, always considering each student’s voice type, learning style, and musical goals. Whether someone is preparing for a performance, audition, or simply wants to explore their voice, I aim to support them in a way that feels both structured and inspiring. My teaching emphasizes healthy vocal technique, expressive delivery, and confidence building. I integrate exercises to strengthen vocal agility, expand range, and improve breath control while also encouraging artistic interpretation. I believe singing should feel empowering and joyful, not pressured, and I make it a priority to create a supportive environment where students feel free to express themselves. The most rewarding part of being a vocal coach is witnessing students grow in both skill and self-assurance. Helping someone connect with music and discover their unique sound is a privilege I never take for granted. My mission is to guide each singer on their path, celebrating every small victory along the way.

About the lesson

Singing lessons are designed to build a strong and healthy vocal foundation while fostering confidence and individuality. Whether you're a beginner or looking to refine your skills, each session is tailored to your specific voice, goals, and musical interests. We start by developing breath support, posture, and basic vocal technique to ensure a sustainable and expressive sound.

As students progress, lessons expand to cover vocal range development, tone quality, and control. Exercises target pitch accuracy and agility, while songs are selected based on the student’s vocal type and goals—be it classical, pop, musical theatre, or contemporary styles. A key focus is building the connection between emotion and performance, helping students bring authenticity to their singing.

In addition to technique, lessons also emphasize musicality and interpretation. We explore how to shape phrases, express lyrics meaningfully, and communicate effectively with an audience. Ear training and sight-singing may also be incorporated to improve musicianship and independence.

Ultimately, my aim is to create a positive, encouraging environment where singers feel comfortable experimenting, making mistakes, and growing. Whether you’re preparing for a performance, audition, or simply want to enjoy singing as a creative outlet, these lessons will help you find and develop your unique voice.
