About Nina

My teaching approach combines Communication, Creativity, Cultural Sensitivity, and Accountability to help students excel in singing. I believe in open, honest communication to understand each student's unique goals and challenges, ensuring lessons are tailored to their needs. Creativity is at the heart of my methodology—encouraging students to explore their voice, experiment with different styles, and express themselves freely. I also emphasise cultural sensitivity by teaching diverse musical traditions, fostering a global perspective in music. Accountability is key; I set achievable goals, track progress, and provide constructive feedback, motivating students to stay committed. In addition to singing, I offer relevant subjects such as music theory and performance techniques to complement and enhance vocal skills. My approach ensures a holistic learning experience, cultivating both technical proficiency and artistic expression.

About the lesson

With 7 years of experience in vocal coaching, I specialise in helping students from school to college discover and refine their unique singing voices. My teaching style is personalised, focusing on building strong vocal technique, improving pitch accuracy, and expanding vocal range. I create a comfortable, encouraging environment where students can explore different musical genres, from classical to contemporary, and develop their individual sound. I incorporate innovative methods like vocal exercises tailored to each student’s needs, ear training to enhance musicality, and performance coaching to boost confidence. Additionally, I use recordings and video feedback to track progress and adjust techniques. My goal is not only to teach students how to sing but also to help them connect emotionally with their music, allowing them to perform with authenticity and passion. Whether you're preparing for a performance, an exam, or just want to improve your skills, I’m here to guide you every step of the way.
