About Amanda
I am an independent visual artist and have been working in the field for 12 years with a focus on photography, drawing and illustration. I studied two degrees, Visual Arts (UFRGS) and Audiovisual (PUCRS) in Brazil, I have a degree in Contemporary Art from the School of Visual Arts at Parque Lage (Rio de Janeiro) and also a Master's in Art and Design for Public Space from the University of Port. I actively participate in the circuit of graphic fairs and self-publishing as a way of distributing my work and I have already participated in exhibitions and awards in Brazil and Portugal. Since 2016, I offer workshops, drawing classes and tutoring in the elaboration of self-publishing projects.

I work drawing as an observation tool and as a practice to exercise my gaze. I think of drawing as a method of perception that is not only visual but also spatial, gestural and also affective. The proposal of the classes starts from observation, encompasses conventional drawing techniques with different materials in which creative dynamics are also stimulated with the intention of building, deconstructing and reconstructing shapes again in a free process in which it is intended to expand the vision and perception of reality through exercise of concentration and observation.

Details
Hello, the amount of travel for private lessons will vary according to the travel. I offer a first two-hour test class worth 10 € to take place in the space of my studio located near Trindade station.
