About June
I am a dedicated violin tutor with 9+ years of teaching experience, having taught around 300 students from beginner to intermediate levels, including high school students, college learners, and adults. My teaching philosophy is based on clear communication, patience, and consistency, as I believe these are essential for successful learning.
I focus on building strong basics such as posture, finger placement, bow control, and sound clarity. I make sure to explain each concept in a simple and understandable way so students can apply it confidently. I also include exercises and songs that keep lessons interesting and engaging.
One of my key achievements is helping students gain confidence and perform without hesitation. My goal is to create a comfortable and motivating learning environment.

I follow a student-focused approach to teaching violin that highlights communication, adaptability, and practical application of skills. I assess each student’s learning style, pace, and goals to tailor lessons that are engaging and effective.
I cover posture, bowing, fingering, tone production, intonation, phrasing, and expressive playing while nurturing creativity and personal interpretation. I use real-life examples such as performing favourite songs, playing along with recordings, and preparing for recitals to make lessons relatable and motivating.
Alongside violin, I teach music theory, rhythm exercises, ear training, sight-reading, and basic piano skills to provide a complete musical education. My goal is to create a supportive and enjoyable environment where students build skill, confidence, and a passion for music.
