About Faith

I am an enthusiastic Spanish tutor with 15 years of experience teaching High School and College students. My teaching philosophy is centred on personalised learning because I understand that every student learns differently. By identifying each learner's strengths and areas for improvement, I create customised lessons that help them achieve steady progress with confidence.

My lessons develop grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, speaking, listening, reading, writing, and practical communication skills. I use simple explanations, engaging activities, and real-world examples that make learning both enjoyable and effective. Students actively participate in every lesson, allowing them to gain confidence while using Spanish in meaningful ways.

A unique skill I bring to my teaching is adapting quickly to changing learning needs. If a student requires additional practice or a different teaching approach, I modify lessons to ensure continued progress. This flexibility helps students stay motivated and overcome learning challenges successfully.

I believe positive encouragement is essential for language learning. My classroom is supportive, respectful, and welcoming, allowing students to ask questions, practice speaking, and learn without fear of making mistakes. I also introduce Spanish culture and authentic expressions to give students a broader understanding of the language.

My commitment to personalised learning allows students to build lasting language skills while achieving their academic goals. Helping learners become confident Spanish speakers continues to be the greatest motivation throughout my teaching career.

About the lesson

My Spanish teaching methodology combines motivation, communication, creativity, and time management to ensure students learn in a fun, structured, and effective way. I motivate students by creating a supportive environment, understanding their goals, and recognising progress to boost confidence.

Communication is at the core of my classes; I provide opportunities for students to speak, listen, read, and write Spanish in meaningful, real-life situations. Creativity is an important aspect of my teaching—I use storytelling, interactive exercises, role-plays, games, and visual aids to make lessons engaging and memorable.

Time management is essential to structure lessons efficiently, covering grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, and conversation practice while keeping students relaxed and motivated. I also guide students on how to organise their practice and study routines outside class.

Along with Spanish, I can teach related subjects like grammar fundamentals, pronunciation, and language learning strategies. My goal is to provide a simple, enjoyable, and effective learning experience that builds fluency and confidence.
